WHO WE ARE
The Stray Dogs Center (SDC) is a non-profit animal welfare organization, founded in 2013. Our mission is to help abused, abandoned, neglected and forgotten stray animals in the UAE with a "no kill" policy. Our shelter holds over 1400 rescue dogs, a handful of wonky donkeys and 15 cats.We rescue dogs from every Emirate in the United Arab Emirates.
Rehabilitate
Most rescues are abused, abandoned, starved, ill or injured. They arrive at the center broken souls, sometimes on the brink of death, full of ticks, sick, aggressive, despondent. Thus begins the journey to rehabilitate. Helping overcome trauma can take from weeks to even years.
