At Vet Plus, we believe that regular wellness exams are essential for maintaining your pet’s health and well-being. During your pet’s visit, we provide a comprehensive evaluation of all organ functions and screen for a variety of conditions, including:
Weight management: Maintaining a healthy weight is important for your pet’s overall health and longevity. We’ll work with you to establish a healthy diet and exercise plan for your pet.
Dental health: Dental disease can lead to serious health issues, including heart disease and kidney disease. During a wellness exam, we’ll evaluate your pet’s dental health and provide recommendations for dental care.
Skin and coat health: Skin and coat problems can be a sign of underlying health issues. We’ll evaluate your pet’s skin and coat and provide recommendations for care.
Heart and lung function: We’ll listen to your pet’s heart and lungs to evaluate their function and screen for any signs of heart or lung disease.
DVM, MRCVS
Dr. Pedro is a veterinary surgeon with over 20 years of experience in treating a wide range of animals. He graduated from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain in 1998 and began his career in Yorkshire, England, where he treated animals such as hamsters, cats, dogs, rabbits, horses, and ovine. After a few years, he moved to Uganda and worked in a Chimpanzee Sanctuary, conducting multiple field studies on wildlife animals.
Upon returning to Madrid, Dr. Pedro continued to practice his passion for animal care, constantly expanding his knowledge to provide the best possible medical treatment. In 2019, he moved to Dubai to bring his expertise to the Middle East.

Avian Specialist
Dr. Octavio is an experienced Avian Specialist who graduated from Serra Orgaos University in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 2006 with a degree in Wildlife Medicine. Since 2009, he has focused exclusively on Avian Medicine and has treated a diverse range of birds, including Falcons.
Dr. Octavio is considered a pioneer in Integrative Avian Medicine, where he specializes in orthopedic cases. His philosophy of care emphasizes taking a holistic view of the entire organism rather than just focusing on a specific problem. Dr. Octavio believes that this approach is critical to achieving optimal results in veterinary medicine.
With his exceptional knowledge, expertise, and dedication to his field, Dr. Octavio is highly regarded in the Avian community. His passion for avian medicine drives him to stay current with the latest advancements in the field and provide the best possible care for his patients.

Dr. Imee is a highly skilled veterinary surgeon who graduated from Benguet State University in the Philippines in 2003. With her extensive experience and expertise in soft tissue surgery, diagnostics, emergency, and critical care, Dr. Imee is an exceptional veterinarian. She is dedicated to furthering her knowledge and skills and is currently pursuing certification in veterinary ophthalmology and veterinary acupuncture.
Throughout her career, Dr. Imee has worked as a General Practitioner in various animal hospitals abroad, acquiring valuable experience in different settings. Since 2011, she has been an integral part of the Veterinary department at Vet Plus, where she has been a pioneer in delivering top-notch veterinary care.
