These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of petsguide.ae

(the “Platform”), including all services, features, memberships, NFC products, listings, and related tools provided by PetsGuide.ae (“PetsGuide”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

By accessing, registering, purchasing, listing, or using any part of the Platform, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

1. About PetsGuide.ae

PetsGuide.ae is an online platform that connects pet owners with pet-related businesses in the UAE. The Platform provides business listings, pet profiles, NFC pet tag services, lost and found functionality, promotional features, and optional paid membership plans.

PetsGuide does not provide veterinary services, grooming services, boarding services, or any pet care services directly unless explicitly stated. We act as a digital platform facilitating connections between users and independent businesses.

2. Eligibility

To use the Platform, you must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements under UAE law.

By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities conducted under your account.

3. Account Registration

Certain features of PetsGuide require account registration.

When registering as a pet owner, you may create a pet profile and access services such as lost and found reporting and NFC tag registration.

When registering as a pet business, you may create a business listing and subscribe to one of our available membership plans.

You agree to keep your account information updated and accurate at all times. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false, misleading, or incomplete information.

4. Membership Plans and Listings

PetsGuide offers different listing tiers, including free and paid plans.

Free plans may have limited features. Paid plans may include additional features such as website links, galleries, booking tools, consultations, enhanced visibility, promotional placements, or other benefits as described at the time of subscription.

All paid memberships are subject to the pricing and billing terms displayed at the time of purchase. PetsGuide reserves the right to modify features or pricing for future subscriptions. Changes will not retroactively affect active subscriptions unless required by law.

Membership fees are non-refundable unless otherwise required under UAE consumer protection regulations.

PetsGuide reserves the right to remove or suspend listings that violate these Terms, applicable laws, or community standards.

5. NFC Pet Tags and E-Commerce Products

When purchasing NFC pet tags or other products through PetsGuide.ae, you agree that:

Orders are subject to availability.

Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary.

You are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.

PetsGuide does not store full credit card details. Payments are processed securely through licensed third-party payment providers.

Returns and refunds are subject to our Return Policy. If a product is defective or damaged upon delivery, you must notify us within the specified timeframe.

6. Lost & Found Services

The lost and found feature is designed to assist in reuniting pets with their owners. While we aim to facilitate recovery through visibility and technology, PetsGuide does not guarantee that a lost pet will be found.

You are responsible for ensuring that contact information associated with your NFC tag or pet profile remains current and accurate.

7. User Conduct

By using PetsGuide.ae, you agree not to:

Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information.

Impersonate another person or business.

Upload unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or infringing content.

Interfere with the security or operation of the Platform.

Use the Platform for illegal activities.

Pet businesses must comply with all applicable UAE laws, including licensing, veterinary regulations, and municipality requirements. PetsGuide does not verify ongoing compliance and is not liable for violations by independent businesses.

8. Reviews and User-Generated Content

Users may post reviews, comments, and other content. By submitting content, you grant PetsGuide a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, display, and promote that content in connection with the Platform and marketing activities.

You are solely responsible for the content you post. PetsGuide reserves the right to remove content that violates these Terms or applicable laws.

9. Platform Role and Limitation of Liability

PetsGuide acts solely as an intermediary platform. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or performance of any listed pet business or service provider.

Any agreement or transaction between a pet owner and a business is solely between those parties. PetsGuide is not liable for disputes, injuries, damages, losses, or claims arising from services provided by third-party businesses.

To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, PetsGuide shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Platform.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on PetsGuide.ae, including logos, branding, design elements, software, and written materials, is owned by PetsGuide or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or exploit any part of the Platform without prior written consent.

Business listings remain the property of the respective businesses, but PetsGuide retains the right to display and promote them on the Platform.

11. Data Protection

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, process, and protect your personal data in compliance with UAE data protection laws.

By using PetsGuide.ae, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Suspension and Termination

PetsGuide reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Platform at its discretion if a user violates these Terms, applicable laws, or engages in behavior harmful to the Platform or its users.

13. Force Majeure

PetsGuide shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet outages, governmental actions, or other unforeseen circumstances.

14. Amendments

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be published on this page with a revised effective date.

Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
